Stole this from a friend and thought I would participate in some good old interaction bait.

The Thing (1982) is very good.

Its also especially not hard because aside from the previously mentioned 3d platformers the only other ones I have played are either just ok (Mario Sunshine, Mario 3d Land, Castlevania 64) or abysmal dogshit (Super Mario 64)

Been playing through Sonic Adventure for the first time and its a very good 3d platformer. Probably my favourite 3d platformer so far outside of the Mario Galaxy games. Granted not exactly difficult because the amount of 3d platformers I have played is still in the single digits.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention but played through all of Sonic 3 and Knuckles for the first time this weekend, definitely a very good game, played through the game as Sonic and Tails. Might play through as Knuckles at some point. I'll give the game an 8/10.

I may genuinely be the worst gamer to ever hold a controller. It took me 90 minutes and several game overs to beat world one of Super Mario Bros 3.

Tier list of games I played for the first time in 2024, forgot to post this until now.

It sucks that my switch no longer works and that switch emulation is barely functional because I really want to replay Xenoblade 3. Heres to hoping switch 2 has backwards compatibility like the leaks suggest ig.

Only real flaws the game had imo was that the bosses were really tanky so they took forever to kill and also the status effects aside from poison (Curse, Freeze, Stone) were obnoxious and awful to deal with. Everything else about the game was amazing overall a 9/10 or maybe even a 10/10

Just finished Castlevania: Circle of the Moon, amazing game, probably my favourite Castlevania game so far, had everything you would want from a metroidvania, the DSS magic system was cool even if the cards are a pain to get (luckily I did know of the DSS glitch). Ofc the music was great as well.
