It’s almost as if Trump is channeling his idol Adolph when he wanted the German people to suffer because they β€œlet him down,” in his warped mind.

That was their goal. That’s why they are laying off thousands of government employees. They WANT to make the destruction unrepairable and permanent.

…. Which means he is confident it won’t pass. Sadly Trump will never sign legislation that incriminates him. Where is Anonymous and Wikileaks when you need them? The only option is for a β€œDaniel Ellsberg reincarnation reincarnate” to leak them to ProPublica or The BBC so they get into circulation.

He got through some great legislation despite overwhelming republican obstruction. Plus he lead with dignity, respect and compassion, which is more than I can say about Trump.

So if everybody was jumping off the bridge you would want to as well? First of all, complete BS. Second he is just making excuses for his own betrayal. Sure VA has a lot of fed employees and contractors. But the rest of America has many more on ACA and Medicaid. You abandoned them Tim. Fuck you.

Gawd he is so full of schitt.

It doesn’t matter how the illegal gains were spent. They still have to be repaid to the victims by the perpetrators even if they have to borrow the money, get it back from those who shouldn’t have received it in the first place to garner future wages (in this case future tax collections).

Fuck Chuck Schumer. He is not a leader. He’s a cheerleader who has no impact of how the players perform on the field. Take your Kentucky French Fried jokes and shove them up your ass. We are all done with you and your band of gutless schitts. You had them by the balls and you kissed their asses.

They must need a lot more time to scrub the Epstein files. There must be some really nasty stuff in them.

The next president is going to have to live at Blair House and use the office in the Old Executive Office Building (if Trump doesn’t change the name) in order to have sufficient time to repair the damage and remove the stench caused by Trump.

The ACA was great. It was all the other stuff that scared the crap out of the middle of the road electorate. Focus on the things that matter to the broadest swath of voters FIRST. I’m tired of the two steps forward, three steps backwards cycle. I’d rather it be one step forward year after year.

Don’t disagree. Just saying don’t get too far out in front of the electorate on progressive issues or you will be crashed in the next election, just like what happened in 2010. Then all of those gains were lost for the next 20 years. Learn from history.

Not downplaying it at all. But don’t misinterpret it to mean the US electorate has suddenly lurched left in policy choices. It’s anti Trump, anti fascism; not a ringing endorsement for liberalism. Focus on policies that help working families get some economic relief first. Focus on immediate needs.

In CA Prop 50 won in an overwhelmingly liberal state and in response to actions on conservative TX and MO. In NYC the voter base is overwhelmingly democratic and diverse. Remember the shellacking dems got in 2010 thinking Obama’s election meant a liberal mandate? Focus on ALL working folks!

Democrats should not get cocky. VA traditionally elects a governor from the party opposite tgat which won the presidential election the year before. In NJ the republican candidate for governor was weak having lost a primary previously. In PA only once since the 60s were judges not retained by voters

Don’t get cocky. We saw what happened in 2010.

Virginia has consistently elected a governor from the opposite party who won the presidential election the year before.

In case you haven’t learned … nuclear weapons are under the control of the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT, not the state. But thanks for playing.

Frankly his kids would be better off away from someone who exercises such poor judgment and places them at risk due to drunk driving. The kids deserve better. Plus they have a chance to not grow up stupid and racist.

If the Supreme Court allows that to happen then that would definitely be the nail in the coffin for the USA as a democracy. There would be no further illusion to consider it anything but a communist state run by a loyal politburo.

The persons to the right and left of Johnson look like their souls have been sucked out of them. That’s what happens when you sell it to the devil.

I saw a family member like this I’d try to help him, reaching out to other family or friends or trying to get him to rehab. Anything. But this privileged spoiled brat is on his own. He had better get it together quickly. That kind of lifestyle is unsustainable by ANY ONE. That family really sux.

I have to admit that I put ketchup on a hot dog. And mustard. And relish. And diced onions. And kraut. Sometimes chili. And pepper and onion powder. I like my dog dogs juicy and messy in a nice large fluffy potato bread bun.

I get at least ten phone calls, about two dozen emails, and several dozen text messages EVERY FUCKING DAY from candidates, organizations and political causes I have never heard about. I wonder how they came to target me. I’m not a cash cow. It’s so annoying.

WHY IS ANYONE SHOCKED ABOUT THIS? Where have you been since the 1980s. This is just the second generation of Reagan republicans. They learned racism from their parents. Only back then the parents just called them β€œwelfare queens.”

β€œTrump has taken the worst people and made them feel empowered to openly hate again.” <<<< THIS. Trump has poisoned not only the US but politicians worldwide are starting 2 mimic his rhetoric. I was in the UK last wk watching their C-SPAN & hearing anti-DEI talking points. Bandwagon effect stuff!
