Over in Morocco for a brief holiday. Landed last night and it was 38 degrees c at 10 at night. I’m a reasonable person but that’s just too hot for nighttime 🥵

Great performance from rovers last night. Keep this attitude and determination and we have a good shot at the playoffs.

I’m not a fan of yet another round of internationals disrupting the Championship season. This stop-start makes it even hard to work out if we are regrouping, losing momentum, turning a corner, or just need to work on a few things, than usual.

First attempt was the Silmarillion at age 11, - a book club thing that my mum received - i gave up after around 30 incomprehensible pages. Put me off for over 20 years.

My experience of annual business sales forecasts are that they are made up of “History” + “that new thing that’s not been tried before,” going really well. “Stretch” forecasts are just a total fabrication. You can apply this model to all other forms of forecasting. Thank you.

Found myself on the edge of a Scottish funeral wake. They had a piper, who stepped out onto the terrace to play a lament whilst the sun was setting. Incredibly moving. I could see mist swirling on the breeze. Then a man who had been vaping stepped into view. Kinda spoiled the moment.
