Absolutely beautiful! I can say first hand that it tastes as good as it looks!

It tried to be a blend of a few genres, but didn’t quite pull any of them off. I’ll give it points for being engaging and decently plotted, it just felt… bland, I guess.

It’s the first calm weekend I’ve had in a while, seems like a good opportunity to relax and assemble an an army of bloodthirsty xenos. WAAAGH!

Saw Together tonight. It was a little light for a body horror movie. Some good scenes here and there, but it always cuts away before things get too “intense”. I had fun, but it doesn’t feel very memorable.

Yeah, that’s unfortunately not uncommon. I’m obviously set either way, but I’m always excited to see an indie I like get broader appeal. At least the switch version means we get a physical release.

So finally made a pilgrimage to my localish Games Workshop and came home with everything I need to start my WAAAAAAAGH.

I was in love with this game at the beginning of the year. I’m very glad to see it get a switch release, hoping PS4/PS5 and Xbox release aren’t far behind. Everyone deserves a chance to play this masterpiece.

You can’t tell me the bus scene wasn’t at least partially inspired by Nightmare on Elm Street 2.

Got invited by a friend to see Sketch last night. Wasn’t even on my radar until now, but honestly it was kinda fun. It’s very obviously aimed at kids, but it doesn’t pull punches with its audience and was very well executed. ⭐️3.5/5

So, I’m a little late to watch it live, but I’m now all caught up on today’s Nintendo Direct. I’m hyped for new Octopath and Katamari games, and Chronos definitely caught my eye. Nice to see the JRPG renaissance is still going strong!

So, just got back from 28 Years Later. It was… not what I was expecting. But now that I’ve digested it a bit I think I really liked it. It’s a deeply weird horror movie that goes off the rails, which is kinda my personal cinematic catnip.

About to watch 28 Years Later with the hubby! Glad I get to see it before it left theaters!

So, finally getting a chance to spend some time with DK Bonanza. Don’t know if it’s quite my GOTY (mostly due to some stiff competition) but I am really enjoying it a couple of hours in.

Lies. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is the best Final Fantasy. Quest 64 is the best Dragon Quest, though.

As someone who was perfectly content with the graphical fidelity of PLA, I just couldn’t with scarlet and violet. Hoping this update can raise the game above my somewhat low standards.
