I got a wonderful FIREDROP play report from @rvgames.company yesterday! It's awesome to see folks getting the game to the table so soon! She put together an awesome print n' play kit with various tokens and cool astronaut minis too!

No prob! It's a critique of empiricismβ€”data collection misappropriated as Scienceβ€”as an ideology that props up the status quo. It poses science as a practice of getting to the root of the current state of affairs, by reflecting on epistemological/methodological assumptions. The cover is sparkly :)

πŸ““πŸ“•πŸ“˜Hey TTRPG enthusiast/nerd/fan/hobbyist I could use your feedback. Do you buy non RPG zines? Art, politics, poetry, science and such?
I have publishing ideas, and I could use some data.
RePosts much appreciated thanks

Four half-letter size folded zines on a wooden table surface. Top-left: "H8TERS," pink cardstock with green font and image of a burning motorcycle. Top-right: "Operation Nemesis," tan cardstock with a black and red print of the Greek goddess Nemesis. Bottom-left: "Science as Radicalism" by William Gillis, shiny silver cardstock with black font and stylized sharpie redaction blocks. Bottom-right: "Contra AztlΓ‘n: A Critique of Chicano Nationalism," heavyweight white paper with teal, green, and pink font and a strange edited photo of a man wearing a hat that says 'Make Mexico Great Again Also,' with his eyes blocked out.

Some picks from a 2023 book fair. I'm often looking for quality cover, intentional layout and design. These do that well, tho Contra AztlΓ‘n skews a bit more classic anarchist zine... I picked that one for the topic alone.

Xeric Sands by Andy Murillo A Desert Depthcrawl

Hi y'all, there are two weeks until the next update for Xeric Sands on Itch... And the first price increase! If you want a deal on a desert depthcrawl, now is a good time :)

I buy political zines when I go to anarchist book fairs. I probably wouldn't pay for a digital copy though.
