Before we leave petitions behind, I must of course offer my fullest and most heartfelt thank you to the 318 circulators who collected and returned petitions to the campaign! This was a monumental effort, and it was made possible because of these amazing folks.

I am very proud that our 7,100 plus petition signers come from every single one of Allegheny County's 130 municipalities and Pittsburgh's 32 wards. From our large cities to our smallest towns, no corner of Allegheny County was forgotten.

I am immensely appreciative of each and every single one of those signers. Today, Allegheny County spoke loudly and clearly - this chaos will not go without challenge. Now, let's go win in November.

While the Republicans might decide to light more money on fire with yet another court case to challenge the validity of these signatures, the sheer scale of the collection effort and our extensive quality control measures means that there is no doubt. We met the threshold.

I am on the ballot! I was humbled to be able to submit over 7,100 ballot access signatures today, far surpassing the 4,859 required and setting a record for a non-statewide PA Candidate.

That should get the job done. I'll see everyone tomorrow.. on the ballot!

After my opponent tried and failed to illegally cancel this election earlier in the summer, he went on to try again. Well, today the courts told him - again - that democracy is not optional.

This election is happening.

I had a great morning meeting voters outside the Squirrel Hill Farmers Market! Due to the Republican budget cuts, the county has had to slash the size of the market vouchers that senior citizens use. I will do my best to prioritize the services that our residents need.

Despite seemingly forgetting how to smile while taking this, I was proud to stand up for good trouble on Pittsburgh's Northside yesterday. I heard everyone there loud and clear. Less chaos. More needed services.

So many of the leaders who were supposed to fight for us and protect us have demonstrated no interest in doing so. But that is alright, because we can and will stand up for ourselves.

What I have learned from these conversations can be summed up quite easily. The voters demand action. They demand boldness. They demand creativity. People are tired, and many are scared.

Today being the 3 month anniversary of the launch of our campaign, I am delighted to be able to say that it is also the day that I will collect my 2,000th personal signature. That number means almost 22 positive conversations with voters every single day these last three months.

I was proud to stand up for our environment at Pittsburgh's Environmental Action Day! We need clean air to breathe and clean water to drink. My commitment to that goal is rock solid.

Also, a big shoutout to the "Raging Grannies" for standing up for the next generation.

It was great to meet voters from Avalon and Bellevue for some morning coffee today! We had some good discussions ranging from everything from pushing back on DC chaos to getting sidewalks installed.

It's great to be celebrating independence today in Carnegie with Carnegie's next mayor, Sam Bigham! 🇺🇲🎆

As June comes to an end, I was proud to attend Pride in the Park, and Forest Hills Pride. Pride month might be ending, but my commitment to keeping government as far the hell away as possible from love continues. Be who you authentically are.

It's been a busy day around Allegheny County! I was excited to visit Braddock's Juneteenth, Bellevue and Sharpsburg Pride, and Franklin Park's Community Day! Lots of great chats about stemming the tide of chaos coming from DC, protecting our environment, and bringing down prices.

I was proud to stand in opposition to Trump's billionaire giveaway yesterday. The chaos sweeping our county is only going to get worse if this bill passes. It'll create a massive hole in our local budgets causing our loved ones to lose necessary services.

I missed marking the 300th circulator milestone (by quite a bit), but I want to give a huge thank you shoutout to the now well over 350 volunteers circulating petitions around Allegheny County!

Today, we celebrate Juneteenth — the day that saw the liberation of the last enslaved Americans in the former Confederacy.

It's a day for us to celebrate freedom, but also a day to remember that progress doesn't come easily. There is so much more work to be done.

No kings. No tyrants. We the people, now and always.

This casual assault on Americans civilians needs to be met with the full force of the law. Arrest and imprison these criminals.

Yesterday, I collected my personal 1,000th signature. This represents 1,000 conversations I've had with our neighbors about making our home a better place to live. I have enjoyed every single one of those conversations, because that is the job. To represent you.

I'll see everyone tomorrow!

We will not tolerate further unlawful masked kidnappings off our streets. Law and order must be restored, and ICE must be held accountable to it.
