Jury acquits LA County ICE protester of assaulting a federal officer This is the first of dozens of similar cases in Los Angeles County to receive a jury trial in federal court.

This is my old office, and they just took an embarrassing loss when a jury acquitted a man of allegedly assaulting a federal ICE agent.

I’m guessing there are going to be other defendants now choosing to go to trial rather than plead.
