Some positive news around the UK economy - inflation down, retail sales up, tax receipts up, tentantive signs of higher productivity....

But also rising unemployment, falling wage increases, and flat GDP.

You wouldn't call it a recovery yet, but there's maybe a prospect of one.

It's totally disingenuous of the media to claim postponing local council elections is a Labour Government policy. It isn't, the policy is exactly the same as the last Tory government policy, allowing councils to request postponement if certain criteria is met. Who needs facts eh.

This is a collective quote from the women there; “I will not give birth to a life that will discriminate against my gender, my own flesh and blood must not become a blade turned against me. Have a #painting. "Burren Tree" is from 6 years ago. I painted it because I love stones, let alone fields of stone. And I really like walls. You know where you stand with a wall. Sometimes the dry stone ones fall down a little, but if that gives you a better view of a tree, great. #art #SpeirGhorm
