Someone here on the bluesky app also recommended freezing the butter, then running it over a cheese grater before incorporating it into the flour mixture.

That has become my current method. It's fun!

& I know that several people that I follow on this app are fountain pen enthusiasts but I never seem to remember who they are

I make it into applesauce and then make the applesauce into pie

my aunties advised me that Northern Spy is best but I have discovered that Swiss Orange also works well
