The possibility that pre-Elon Twitter was limiting the reach of conservative tweets was the greatest story in the history of journalism, while a vast network of sex trafficking pedophiles that included billionaires, celebrities and two presidents is just a big yawn.

The possibility of which... went completely unproven by Matt Taibbi who misread some documents and then just pretended it was a huge scandal... which large segments of the media has now accepted

Look at all their pop art references to lord of the rings, star wars, star trek, superman etc. They completely miss the point of the most didactic material, the only reason they pretend to like classical art is they think it owns โ€œlesserโ€ people even though this is wholly stolen valor

18.02.2026 16:08 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 2673    ๐Ÿ” 227    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 25    ๐Ÿ“Œ 11

The decline of right wing cultural production is just due to the fact that they donโ€™t like culture, they like the signifiers of culture, ie โ€œclassic sculpture means white people are better.โ€ They donโ€™t like art at all except for this purpose. They donโ€™t even like the nerd stuff they whine about

Meanwhile, Grok just gives the simplistic (and misleading) answer that doesn't actually teach you anything useful. By Elon's own standards, Grok is a failure here, while the other three are much more about debating the ideas.

Also, the questions asked are stupid, loaded, nonsense questions.

18.02.2026 07:50 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 225    ๐Ÿ” 15    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 10    ๐Ÿ“Œ 2

And the dumbest thing is that for years, Elon has said that the value of X is supposedly in the battle of ideas it presents, where you get to see all sides (it's a lie, but it's what he says). Yet here, the 3 other LLMs do exactly that, explaining the nuances, the complications, and the ins-and outs

18.02.2026 07:50 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 227    ๐Ÿ” 15    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 5    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0
Elon saying: Grok 4.20 is BASED.

The only AI that doesnโ€™t equivocate when asked if America is on stolen land.

The others are weak sauce.

Then he shows images of Grok, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude all answering the same question. Grok just says, effectively, conquest is cool, there's no such thing as stolen land. The other three basically say "yo, that question is too simplistic, and there's a lot of nuance, which we'll explain, giving the different arguments."

Elon retweeting Katie Miller. Elon just says "Grok." Miller says:

Should Critical Race Theory be taught in be in schools?

Grok is the only AI to say NO.

4.20 is BASED.

But what she's saying is not accurate. Like the pervious image, Grok gives a simplistic an useless answer, while the others explain how the question itself is pretty loaded, and you have to actually understand the nuances to understand how to answer the question.

Kinda weird that Elon is promoting Grok giving empirically less useful answers. All the others explain the context and the different viewpoints. Whereas Grok is trained to be "here's the bigot's view only."

I am honoured to welcome Matt Jeneroux to our caucus as the newest member of Canadaโ€™s new government.

Building a stronger, more resilient, and more independent country will require ambition, collaboration, and occasionally, sacrifice. I am grateful to Matt and his family that he will continue his service as a strong voice for Edmonton Riverbend in Parliament.

the logic of his position is that you would them abandon those issues and so on and so on until youโ€™ve fully sacrificed a group of vulnerable americans to reactionary bullies for the sake of a percentage point (if that)

"Here are Republican 'family values' for your children in 2026:
- allowing them to be murdered in schools

- putting them to work rather than educating them
- hiding the identities of those who traffick and rape them"

Note: Spartan Oliganthropia is the problem of depopulation among the Spartiates, a malady at the start of the Peloponnesian War that grew into a critical illness in the 4th century.

Their line is your fighting can't be done by marble. But Sparta was losing an attritional war to its own system.

rubioโ€™s invocation of โ€œwestern civilizationโ€ โ€” defined here as racial and religious chauvinism, if not outright supremacy โ€” is a rejection of the more egalitarian and universalistic notions that came out of americaโ€™s two revolutions.

interesting to think that revolutionary era americans understood themselves as making a break with the โ€œold worldโ€ and establishing a new civilization. and crucially, this new civilization rested on republican self-government, not โ€œsovereignty.โ€
