The range can be limited to tens of km, so not a lot of fuel.

Not needing to move a lot of warhead and fuel, the jet engine can be smaller and cheaper.

Should also be a larger difference in the cost of the kamikaze jet drone and the cost of a capable interceptor.

The attacking drone needs a lot of ... everything.

A lot of warhead mass.
A lot of fuel to give the heavy drone range.
A lot of engine power make the heavy drone fly at high speed.
