Help us acknowledge you
as our king, Lord Jesus;
not in the mockery
of a purple robe
and crown of thorns,
nor by setting up
ourselves or others
as Lord in your place,
but by following your call,
taking up our cross
and walking your way,
that we may share your love.

It is sad that we cannot tolerate other people's views. We are herded into 2 pens by politicians, media, and ourselves, when God calls us to love one another.

Hi. How is the summer going?

This is what I know about how to live a Christian life:
1. Love God with all you have.
2. Love others as yourself.
3. Love yourself as God loves you.
4. I am to be just.

6. I am to walk humbly with God throughout my life.

But, there are Bronsted-Lowry bases that are NOT Arrhenius bases. Ammonia, NH3, is an example. Ammonia can accept a hydrogen ion but can act like a base outside of water.

An Arrhenius acid is also a Bronsted-Lowry acid. An Arrhenius base is also a Bronsted-Lowry base.

Why is the term proton used for the hydrogen ion? The most common isotope of hydrogen is hydrogen-one, which consists of just a proton and an electron. Therefore, the hydrogen ion would be just a proton.

Bronsted-Lowry definition was proposed in 1923 independently by Johannes Nicolaus Brønsted and Thomas Martin Lowry. An acid is a hydrogen ion (proton) donor. A base is a hydrogen ion (proton) acceptor. This is the most common definition of acids and bases.

Arrhenius definition in 1884 defined an acid as a substance that increases the hydrogen ion concentration in an aqueous solution. A base is defined as a substance that increases the hydroxide ion concentration in an aqueous solution. Aqueous solutions are water-based solutions.
