Hi! We find that replacement of endogenous integrin beta1 with a non-phosphorylatable mutant, reduces cancer invasion, and this was phenocopied by Shp2 inhibition in WT expressing cells (not in the mutant cells). It may be that Src & paxillin phosphorylation is also reduced in the mutant cells.
