I went to this exhibition last week. Absolutely loved it. Made me want to try making my own rag rug. Here are some pics I took at Tullie House

Swan-skeleton inspired outfit by Jess Owen in the Carlisle Gallery, which although largely white, we do agree is pretty goth in spirit. They said "bones and skeletons" enough said, right?

Mary Clark's Mourning Dress from the 1860s. They looked outward for this one and asked a member of staff for their opinion.

The Spanish Landscape by Colin Allen (1926-1987), specifically the little black donkey. They said "dark and moody, innit."

For the first time, #WorldGothDay and Tullie work experience placements have aligned (or at least the first time we've noticed).

So, of course we set our placement students the task of exploring the museum to find the most goth objects. 🖤

Today is #WorldBeeDay so we made a bee out of books and now we're buzzing. 🐝
