Articles about this never really get into why anyone should bother with doing this, or what the engineering hurdles are. This article had some hand waving "sometimes it's dark and batteries don't last forever," but those seem like easier problems to mitigate than building a nuclear power plant.

It's fair to criticize the reporting while also criticizing the actions of the subjects of the reporting. Both things can be bad, and it's OK if we only point to the one we care about.

The headline "Kennedy Center vows legal action" is correct, but your Bluesky summary isn't. They aren't "planning legal action," they *claim* they're planning. Until the suit is filed, it's just hot air.

At least have the sense to say "Trump's ILLEGAL attempt" and point out that nothing in the law says he can do this. For god's sake, could you New Dems stiffen your spines even a little bit in the face of this authoritarian nightmare we're living in?

"With their green card" they aren't undocumented. The pic talks about "illegal immigrants" so I'm not sure what your point is.

If they really want to go that route, dead people can't be forced to donate organs under US law, you have to explicitly say it's OK before dying. So if the mother is "dead," and made no provisions, I would think the law can't demand that her uterus be donated to the fetus. Problem solved.
