What was the big scandal at your school?

My 8th grade physical science teacher accidentally killed a goldfish during a science demonstration.

He placed a goldfish bowl w/ water in it inside a vacuum jar. The idea was that the fish would swim around while the water seemingly boiled. It... didn't.

Had to travel for school, so I'm staying at my brother's. I think his pets, Barry the Cat and Dan the Dog, like me.

When I was in high school back in 2005 I helped with the 9/11 memorial program. The song we used for the really horrible stuff was "Dreamer." My best friend suggested it, and hearing it was Ozzy, I wasn't sure until I heard it. I still have just a bit of an emotional reaction about it.

Bark At The Moon/Over The Mountain are untouchable as far as I'm concerned.

Shelter said he's got a bit of Retriever/Labrador in him.

If Gunn's Superman is the most comic book accurate movie, then where was THIS scene? Hmmmmm?!

Different takes on the character, but for what the movie called for, Hoult knocked it out of the park, creating a Luthor you just wanna see get the crap kicked out of him.

And when it happens?

Overall, it's a solid film, and in SOME ways, it's the best Superman movie. If it were more consistent, and tightened the focus in the first half of the film, it would be without a doubt the best. Curious to see where DC goes from here.

Still, for the time they had, they didn't skip a beat and were all memorable (save for Hawkgirl).

This is the best Lex Luthor since Clancy Brown, and it also has a surprisingly effective turn from Metamorpho of all characters. Of all the new characters, he's the one I want to see most.

Not to say that the film doesn't get laughs, it does, but it was VERY hit or miss. Likewise, a lot of the satellite characters feel like they're leaning on fans knowing them from other stories, rather than fleshing them out properly in the film.

For those of you who may remember a thread of mine on bird-site talking about Supes and the hope he represents, you won't be surprised to hear I dug Gunn's take on Supes.

The film itself is also pretty good, albeit clunky and not nearly as funny as I think it was intending to be.
