Teachers are working hard in classrooms every day to help students engage with curriculum in a supportive way.
We need a Minister of Education that celebrates & supports the incredible work of staff & students.

Every time I travel internationally I am reminded how powerful a Canadian passport is. Donβt take it for granted

Weβre taking bargaining back. Member voice and choice at the forefront.

Itβs not just whoβs on the ballot, but whatβs on the ballot.
The broken politics of the past or a future we can afford.
Itβs debate time. Letβs go.
Ah, I see Poilievre has progressed to the stage of Trump Playbook where he *checks notes* pushes to jail his political opponents.
Fun!
Coming Soon: Listen next week to #OSSTF D16 T/OT President Muna Kadri during the @tvotoday.bsky.social segment on providing curriculum instruction when it comes to political issues. We will post the link once it is released!

The fact that top Republicans are already fearmongering about, lying about, the No Kings rallies this Saturday, across the US, tells you how worried they are about public pressure and protest against their reactionary, autocratic, anti-American agenda.

StatsCan shows ONβs public funding for universities has fallen 21% since 2008 β from 54.3% to just 32.5%, the lowest in Canada. Ontarioβs underfunding is dragging down the national ave. & shortchanging students, educators, & our future.
Teachers are forming volunteer patrol squads in San Diego.

Tech would need 15 to 25 times current AI revenues within the next 2-3 years just to break even. Not financially viable.

Sincerely, An Epidemiologist Who Told You Trump Would Get COVID Booster.
I participated in a protest in Chicago almost 2 years ago, they do it differently.
They arenβt going to put up with any of Trumpβs nonsense.
Email is a way to get a concern across without creating a safety issue for students.
Whatever the issue, always consider if an action compromises the safety of students and staff of that school community.
It would be nice for the Minister of Education to offer this reminder to the public.

I recently saw a post encouraging the public to call a school to flood them with complaints about an issue.
Please do not organize mass call ins to a school as that ties up their phone lines & prevents parents from contacting the school to deliver urgent messages.
