i've made a little clip of what this looks like.

you just write the coordinates in the properties block at the beginning of a note

( <property>: <value> lines between the "---" lines)

the plugin picks it up and puts a pin on the global map for you. the map stays in sync and updates itself

i'd recommend writing a note for each spot in Obsidian and perhaps have a look at this obsidian plugin where you can include coordinates as a property for the note and the plugin will collect all locations in all notes and let you see them on a map

yeah that's the crux of the abuse angle. i guess that angle caught me emotionally but i don't like where it takes me. he could actually just block those people, you're right. i guess my takeaway is he must be doing some weird experiment in extreme stubbornness and wants to see where it all leads

if you know of a way for Will Stancil to avoid this treatment that doesn't involve refraining from saying certain things (i.e. shutting up) or leaving the platform (i.e. shutting up) then fine.

i guess some people see standing up to bullies as irrational. i rarely see such a sentiment expressed by people disinclined to bullying, and much less from anyone who has ever been bullied. why telling victims to count their blessings and shut up is acceptable when it's Will Stancil is curious.

but I also don't really get the sense you're worried about him. you seem to be questioning his sanity with a less than friendly motivation. that for example is already a level of animosity that i don't really understand.

ok that's a finer distinction than i assumed. i agree that he may have developed some tunnel vision. whether he's unwell in that sense could be argued, i guess, but how that differs from an burning stubbornness isn't clear to me. stubbornness can be costly but not a reliable sign of insanity.

i just find the question of his culpability becomes meaningless once the abuse reaches the level he is dealing with. nothing justifies that.
