Absolutely agree that it’s a moving target. A part of what I’m writing about is how mechanics over velocity needs to be emphasized at those younger ages, and sport specialization should not happen during puberty, the literature points to that also being a major culprit in these overtraining injuries

Since I have you here would you be willing to answer when you’d be willing to introduce Velo training (outside of strength training) to youth pitchers?

Barring some miracle there’s just not going to be some fix-all approach here in my opinion

I guess the question is how willing the MLB is to change the rules to solve this issue, but even then pitchers are still going to get hurt. 🤷🏼‍♂️
