Prices still too high, no one has enough saved for a down payment, and everyone expects things to get a lot worse. So yeah. πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ

They never wanted to tone down the rhetoric. That was for show.

But on a happier note, Charlie Kirk is still dead and the world is a little better because of it. πŸ‘πŸΌ

Hmmm, 1 in 5 over 50 is still 20% of the population w/o kids. Thats a lot. I only had one and love him more than anything but I still had to be talked into parenthood.

Gotta say these ICE ads make me a lot less likely to watch NFL games. But I guess they can afford to alienate dual income empty nesters with a lot of disposable income. 😏

Americans already see what’s up. They know Democrats are on the right side of this shutdown because we know it’s really a healthcare fight.

Our dear friend Susan would like a word with Russell Vought. πŸ”₯

That’s an old Rush Limbaugh line, and it’s obvious it originally came from someone who never put on a uniform. Or really understood what is asked of our service members.

It’s totally understandable someone like Last Call for Alcohol Hegseth would parrot it.

Trump and his billionaire donors might be able to determine Adams and Cuomo’s actions. But they won't decide this election.

In just over 5 weeks, we'll turn the page on the politics of big money and small ideas β€” and deliver a government every New Yorker can be proud of.

The Prince of Darkness is great. It’s an old John Carpenter film with great cast of early 80’s character actors.

That’s from the Armani level. Level 50, where all the men’s midlife crisis items are stocked.

Was just going to bring that up. Combined with the Just For Men Extra Extra Extra Black beard dye and scenes with him are let’s say, challenging to watch.

DoJ is going to get their ass handed to them in court and I’m so going to enjoy the tantrums that follow.

I really don’t get this at all, maybe it’s age, maybe it’s socioeconomic, but I’ve never seen nor felt that kind of feeling. Nor do the guys I know in my professional relationships or friends let’s say 40 and above.

Just glad my son is normal.

I just don’t get it. I was shy and not anti-social, but quiet and kind of apprehensive until I forced myself to be a grown up and go do stuff.

Exactly. Nor do parks, art fairs, free public concert series, etc.

Also who can’t nurse a drink for awhile at a bar? You only get the β€œcops called on you” if you’re being a creep.

Jeezus you people are such whiners. How hard is it to go to a bar and nurse a beer for awhile? Or just window shop? You’ll find every excuse to not even try and do the minimum it takes to have a life.

Call me crazy but when I was younger (18-23), I’d do this thing called getting out of the house. I’d go to bars, the beach, the mall, places with other people where I honed the ability to talk and interact with ppl in person. How this β€œskill” has so atrophied in men younger than me boggles my mind.

As CNN offers daylong saturation coverage of the podcaster’s funeral, I went back and checked to see how CNN covered Melissa Hortman’s memorial on 6/28, where Walz spoke and Biden/Harris attended.

It got about four minutes during the hours it was happeningβ€”less than Jeff Bezos’s wedding that day.

In the last 72 hours, 95 democrats voted to honor a bigot, no senate democrats objected to the same measure, Trump ordered an illegal prosecution and Chuck Schumer responded by calling for bipartisan budget negotiations with that same Trump.

Border Czar Tom Homan was caught by the FBI accepting bribes - on camera - to deliver government contracts in exchange for $50,000 in cash.

Pam Bondi knew.

Kash Patel knew.

Emil Bove knew.

And they made the investigation go away.

A corrupt attempt to conceal brazen graft.

If Democrats ever get power again there needs to be a proper reckoning. Criminals need to be indicted, prosecuted and convicted for trying to subvert our democracy and rights for Trump.

There is no room for Merrick Garlands and milquetoast centrists anymore.

You need accountability.

the reason folks like colbert and kimmel are being targeted is because they puncture the unreality bubble trump is trying to make happen

socially conscious humor has real power or they wouldn’t try so hard to censor it

Whoever told the Democrats to go with "he's failing on his promises" should be ejected from politics forever. He literally isn't? The signs said "Mass Deportations Now." He's doing what he said and MORE. The "finally acting Presidential" Trump NEVER existed and they're shadow boxing that phantom.

If BSG could pull off a couple decent battles with SyFi’s budget, Disney ought to be able to throw something equally good together.

Unfortunately I’m canceling Disney until they make amends for Kimmel.

You can see this practical difference in modern protest movements! The George Floyd protests were largely unstructured, just millions of people in the street. Almost nothing permanent happened. The civil rights movement was MUCH smaller - but it had goals, structure, and changed America forever.

Seriously need a new round of breaking up huge conglomerates like we used to do. Then codify businesses can only own a small percentage of their market.
