It gets easier if you commit to "laundry in the sink" with quick-dry fabrics, but it only works if you can get away with only wearing those, and the laundry is still annoying.
I did a month in New Zealand out of a single backpack, and I ended up mostly washing socks + undies. Pants and tops? Ehh.
I'm not convinced that the politics of the killer matter more than the politics of the act.

A pride flag with every color band represented by a NASA image. White is Earth clouds, pink is aurora, blue is the Sun in a specific wavelength, brown is Jupiter clouds, black is the Hubble deep field, red is the top of sprites, orange is a Mars crater, yellow is the surface of Io, green is a lake with algae, blue is Neptune, and purple is the Crab Nebula in a specific wavelength.
I made this Pride flag using only NASA images and our team thought it would be cool to share on social (I work on the NASA heliophysics communications team), but it's getting all sorts of hate on the bird app and Fbook. Thought y'all might be more appreciative of it here. βΊοΈπ³οΈβππ

Expanding on that; you could, for example, prevent a relay's known IP from connecting to your PDS, but that's a _very_ flimsy protection, trivially bypassed.

think "fill out this google form and my relay will add you". Different relays may have different criteria or methods

05.01.2024 21:47 β π 571 π 104 π¬ 9 π 1A bare leg, showing off a fresh tattoo that goes the whole length. It is a long and wispy watercolor, with many mixed color areas. The entire thing is split with bold black "cracks" of various thicknesses, almost organic. A tiny group of black dots is off in a corner of it.
A close up of the previous image, showing the black dots in detail; they're space ships traveling together. They're mostly shaped as long, spindly craft, with weird shapes jutting out the sides. Tiny triangle craft are interspersed.
A tiny, discreet red dot tattoo, looking almost like a blemish; a tattoo artist used it to test for an ink allergy. The same artist signed it, way larger than the dot itself. The signature is a square, containing a K , with the bottom "arm" acting as the same for the R. The whole signature looks like it was sketched.
Got my big leg piece finished up! My little fleet of people, sticking together and helping each-other in the beautiful horrific void.
And the artist (Kinsey Roehm) agreed to sign (and touch up) the allergy test, as a bit.
A good PR (and good code comments) should communicate just how annoying a particular thing was.
The number of times I've put something like "# Listen. I know this sucks. But buckle up and listen before you try to 'fix' it..."
