I'm often surprised at how much researchers are using LLMs for intellectual work. It's not that I disapprove, or at least not on principle. It's more that I'm surprised at the trust being placed in the process. And by that I don't just mean LLMs can give wrong information...

I've been thinking about this one quite a bit lately. So many people simply do not have any conceptual tools to think about, identify, or analyze power and the nature of power whatsoever, how it manifests in society, specific instances of it, how it deforms social dynamics, etc etc etc

Speaking of voices under attack…can we be just as loud about Black journalists and comedians who are silenced, even by our so-called liberal outlets.
