Yes, I'm insanely lucky and more than a little privileged. I have blue hair, tattoos, wear fun clothes, and talk a lot about video games. People tend to underestimate me, but that's their problem.

Messy marriage-kids-divorce aside, my I'm An Adult feeling was a couple of things.
1. Mom died, and there was no one left to do the Hard Stuff. If I didn't do it, it didn't get done, and it HAD TO
2. I realized that there isn't a rulebook. Do work, pay bills. After that, nobody really cares
