Wow! Labour have been getting more and more desperate with every passing day.

But this is off the charts. Inventing a tactical voting website?!

LABOUR CAUGHT CREATING FAKE TACTICAL VOTING WEBSITE

A Warning: there is no tactical voting site called "Tactical Choice"
If you choose to vote tactically it's important to seek independent, impartial advice. And always check the source online, as printed leaflets could be out of date, or even intentionally misleading.

On the eve of the Gorton & Denton by-election the Labour Party have invented a fake tactical voting organisation to put on their leaflets.

Lying to voters is all they have left.

All the (real) tactical voting organisations agree: only a Green vote can stop Reform on Thursday.

Tourette syndrome activist John Davidson says Bafta told him ‘any swearing would be edited out of the broadcast’ Davidson said he ‘can’t begin to explain how upset and distraught I have been’ over slurs he shouted during the award ceremony

So the BBC promised Davidson and StudioCanal (who made I Swear) that any swearing tics would be edited out from broadcast, and instead they left them in despite a two hour delay, and even put a fucking microphone right in front of him to ensure they picked it up - he was sat at the back of room.

Police AI chief admits crime-fighting tech will have bias but vows to tackle it Exclusive: NCA’s Alex Murray says he hopes new £115m police AI centre can limit unfairness found in tools

British policing, an institution that for decades has been infamously guilty of unreformable institutionalised racism, will somehow magically ensure the inbuilt racial bias in AI is "minimised". Sure. Not one critical voice was included in this news report either www.theguardian.com/technology/2...

every time I think I couldn't hate Labour more, they do something else

23.02.2026 11:43 — 👍 34    🔁 11    💬 1    📌 0

so you've probably heard about the London measles outbreak. A lot of people are talking about anti-vax misinformation, but that's not actually the problem here. The problem is austerity. 🧵

Funding health visitors to do newborn jabs is, I can almost guarantee it, going to work out cheaper than these measles outbreaks

23.02.2026 15:16 — 👍 129    🔁 17    💬 2    📌 0

So some of y’all will remember that for Froglet, we were part of a vaccine study. A dr came to our house at a time convenient for us and did all his jabs that way. Truly glorious. And achievable at scale- fund a health visitor to pop round all the babies in a small region.

23.02.2026 15:14 — 👍 85    🔁 2    💬 1    📌 0

Exactly this. This is why doing it in schools is good for older kids! But for babies- we should really bring back the health visitor idk

these are all fixable problems! but they are systemic problems, not problems that we can fix by blaming individual parents and social media.

fund the NHS.

23.02.2026 14:57 — 👍 182    🔁 14    💬 4    📌 0

that's our vaccination crisis. not misinformation.

it's the cost of busses. GP surgeries in poor neighbourhoods closing. appointments being few and far between and inflexible. jobs not offering paid sick leave for childcare. systems not flexing for parents.

23.02.2026 14:56 — 👍 155    🔁 21    💬 1    📌 0

So why are parents who want their kids to be vaccinated, not actually doing it? the number one reason is because they can't get an appointment that they can make.

Rates are lowest, by a huge amount, in Westminster, Enfield, and a number of north London boroughs where median income is lowest.

Do people not understand that Tourettes is literally involuntary? There really seems like a dearth of education on this, particularly in America. Which is largely what the film they were there for was about.

23.02.2026 18:35 — 👍 4    🔁 2    💬 1    📌 0

Tourettes and intrusive thoughts disorders aren't representative of a person's beliefs or "true nature". Intrusive thoughts are intrusive. They're thoughts we do not want to have that's the whole thing

23.02.2026 19:08 — 👍 2    🔁 1    💬 1    📌 0

The last point she makes is that there is a widespread belief that this incident represents a breaking of Davidson's filter on things he thinks but might want to otherwise hold back, and this just isn't something that this kind of tic indicates.

23.02.2026 17:05 — 👍 174    🔁 12    💬 5    📌 1

TLDW;

- This incident was clearly hurtful.
- It was also completely involuntary, that's what coprolalia means.
- The editing team keeping it in while editing out voluntary political statements was however clearly voluntary and unnecessarily humiliating for Davidson Lindo and Johnson.

Replying to @chunlifuu My two cents as a Black woman with Tourette Syndrome. We need to be looking at who on the BAFTA team okayed that moment to be aired when they had the ability to edit that out. ... TikTok video by Jhónelle Bean

6 minutes long so can't repost here, sorry

But vital video from a black woman with tourettes on the misunderstandings and hurt going on in viral discourse over John Davidson at the BAFTAs.

Solidarity with everyone with Tourettes currently seeing the absolute ignorance and cruelty towards the condition on display.

Anyway, there's apparently a big to do today about holding someone with tourettes responsible for an involuntary verbal utterance and I would just like to remind people that person didn't chose to have tourettes, they have to live with it everyday

Imagine living in constant fear that at any moment you might involuntarily say the most offensive and inappropriate thing in a given situation. You can't make it through a job interview, let alone hold down a job. You can't go to the grocery store, you can't travel, eat at a restaurant, date...

22.02.2026 23:26 — 👍 79    🔁 1    💬 1    📌 3

I'm not sure anything can quite sum up the utter stupidity of a society that thrives on faux outrage quite like a guy with Tourettes at an award ceremony to celebrate the success of a movie about his life that raises awareness about Tourettes being criticised for his actions due to his Tourettes.

Seeing people in the quotes and comments calling John Davidson racist or "shouldn't go to these event to disrupt them."
It goes to show none of you understand Tourette's or care to educate yourselves. Shameful behaviour.

People with Tourettes go their whole lives being beaten up and otherwise abused because people don't believe that they have no control over what they say. I'm kinda surprised to see so much of that on Bluesky though. Would have expected it on Twitter.

22.02.2026 23:57 — 👍 72    🔁 3    💬 3    📌 0

because 'they should know better', which is the narrative going around now.

Are you offended by what comes out of the mouth of a 2 year old? Well these folks have even less control.

Especially in high pressure situations. They aren't secretly racist or sexist or hating everyone or anything else

Seeing a lot of Americans freaking out about Tourette Syndrome tonight after BAFTA's.

I'd like to point everyone to this clip, showing just how little control Tourettes folks have over their fysical actions and words.

Please do not ostracize them. They deserve to be part of society, not silenced

Seeing so much ableism about the man with Tourette’s and it’s so disappointing. Coprolalia (the shouting or loudly expressing of taboo words, often sexual in nature) is completely involuntary. The terms are those they don’t want to use and wouldn’t use. They are taboo to THEM as well.

22.02.2026 23:37 — 👍 37    🔁 11    💬 2    📌 0

People with Coprolalia (the shouting or loudly expressing of taboo words, often sexual in nature) shout words they fear saying/that they deem taboo and fear saying. Saying he is racist shows you misunderstand greatly
