I've said before that a lot of AI's biggest evangelists either can't or won't distinguish by quality. To them, art is fungible, so it doesn't matter what it is or if it's any good, only that it exists. To quote Zoidberg, "One art, please!"

And yet, if you put that prompt into an AI probably a 50/50 shot as to whether the dinosaur or the chips have human hands.

I don't have an answer, but I always associate the phrase "American exceptionalism" with post-World War 2 American hegemony. Like "post-war prosperity wasn't a combination of policy, infrastructure, luck, and other things, it was just inevitable because America is the main character!"

My favorite part of the announcement was all the totally real studios that were ready to sign her. They couldn't NAME any of them, but they're definitely all very real and have made real phone calls and real emails about very real interest.

At this point, I'm firmly convinced the DNC wants all the same things the GOP wants, they just want to deflect blame by letting the GOP do the dirty work.
