25.01.2026 12:41 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 1I donβt think people quite understand that the occupation by ICE in the Twin Cities has more or less erased non-white people from public life. They cannot safely exist in any space accessible to the public and moving between private places leaves folks vulnerable to kidnapping by armed masked goons.
16.01.2026 22:15 β π 17819 π 6371 π¬ 52 π 330Yeah I don't know why anyone would trust any deal the US makes at this point. Presidents used to abide by deals made by their predecessors. That's long gone since Trump doesn't even stay true to his deals.
If Congress would have punished him, maybe we could have got back on track, but they suck.
The states run elections. Democratic states are going to have elections. Period.
If Republican led states refuse to do elections or recognize results, the result is the only people who show up to form a Congress are Democrats.
It's just not going to happen that way.
Anyone that's still a Republican almost by definition does not love the Constitution. They hold the idea of checks and balances in contempt.

12.01.2026 06:01 β π 54 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0That was you, my guy. You posted a database of wrongful convictions so I replied about convictions. Going to block you now. Bye.
10.01.2026 06:54 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Jesus. It's not both because you literally cannot be convicted of doing something legal.
You get convicted because they lie and say you did something illegal.
You are exhausting. Take care.
Yeah man that's people being wrongfully convicted of crimes, not being convicted of legal activity.
10.01.2026 06:14 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0The state can't charge you with buying a candy bar, because it's an unequivocally legal activity.
If they want to fuck you over, they say you stole the candy bar and obstructed justice and resisted arrest etc.
Do you understand the distinction?
If it were unequivocally legal, you wouldn't be charged at all.
10.01.2026 06:01 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Except I'm not technically right regardless of the larger outcome. The larger outcome is what I said it would be! You get charged!
My intention was to answer the question of the OP. What's your intention in continuing to argue?
I know it's not the same but we don't have much precedent for masked secret police so no-knock warrants were the closest analogue I could think of.
10.01.2026 04:52 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0It's not pedantry to point out that the list you provided are examples of my comment rather than a refutation of it.
I also saw the reply you deleted where you basically called me a collaborator for just pointing out that the system is rigged in favor of cops. π
I said people "get charged all the time." Those people all got charged.

Need to work on your Google skills.
1) My original comment says charged, not convicted. Sounds like you did find plenty of examples of that.
2) People often get killed during these no-knock raids so there's no charge because they're dead.
3) Being charged is itself a punishment.
Another example:

There are people who have fired at cops and are alive. The legal part of it does matter.
09.01.2026 13:06 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Yeah more than one would think, but you still spend your life savings on attorney fees and deal with the stress and stigma of being charged even if you eventually win.
I'd wager your likelihood of being charged for shooting a non-cop intruder is orders of magnitude lower.
Marvin Guy in Texas is doing a life sentence for it.

I'm not a lawyer, but people who resist cops that bust into their house in the middle of the night with a no-knock warrant get charged all the time. You not knowing it's a cop won't save you from being punished for attacking a cop. The system is set up to protect cops, not us.
