Installed in 2021. Don’t have house battery, but excess goes to Hot Water first then car charging with a Zappi, then export to grid. No gas usage over summer makes a big difference in costs.

Nobody gets more airtime or less scrutiny than Nigel Farage.

Since May's local elections, Liberal Democrats have won more council seats than Labour, the Conservatives and the Green Party put together.

We are taking on Nigel Farage’s divisive politics and standing up for our British values as a caring and decent country.

Lay knives on the top tray with blades up so the edges don’t blunt on the hard plastic. If you lay them the whole β€œfalling on them” is a non issue. As a teen I used to do pot wash in a 800 check/day restaurant.

🚲 Bike theft has effectively been decriminalised.

The British Transport Police have said that bike thefts outside London railway stations will not be investigated if they have been locked for more than two hours!

Oh Owllie come back and skool me when you have read and digested eIDAS and studied how ID can make life better for citizens, business and reduce fraud. Study Estonia, Sweden, Singapore. Don’t loose sight of the positive social outcomes because of techbro hatred - they don’t have to be involved.

Is this more for you about who is likely to be processing the data and where it is processed?

23.10.2025 07:34 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

They already have the data at DVLA, that’s how they issue it already. No new data! What is new is making it useful for us as citizens by putting it in a personal wallet. We can then consent to share that data to prove a question like β€œare you over 18”,β€œI don’t have any points on my driver license”

The Rest Is Politics | 84. Denmark's former PM on the power of centrist politics, fighting misogyny, and joining the Kinnock empire (Helle Thorning-Schmidt)

You are following the misconceptions that digital identity is (a) about more data than the gov already has and (b) it’s about surveillance which it is not.

If you are interested in centrist politics then listen to therestispolitics.supportingcast.fm/listen/leadi...

Sorry who do? The only way to not have a digital id in Denmark is to have your doctor sign it off on medical grounds. They didn’t vote on it either. It follows on from the physical identity card scheme that, wait for it, they copied from the one uk had after WWII, but we then got ride of.

Red flags: The non-existent company behind Brum's Union Jacks 'It's 100% legitimate'

Wish I could say it comes as a massive surprise that there's an overlap between the flag people and suspected fraudsters, but this is great work by the @birminghamdispatch.bsky.social.

Unlike Farage, we're proud of Britain.

Britain has problems that need fixing, but we must never forget our strengths, our people and our values.

They are what make this country special.πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§

Wallets always make it clear what data is about to be shared and the user chooses to consent or not to the sharing.

Opening a bank account, prove you are over 18 when buying a kitchen knife on line. Electronic wallets which store the IDs always let you know what details are being presented and you consent to the information sharing. Other IDs in the wallet could be prove you are a qualified gas fitter etc

And you only get it from working age. My understanding is that in most EU countries your ID is born when you are.

ID-card - e-Estonia Estonia’s advanced ID-card enables digital access to e-services such as digital signatures, i-Voting, medical records, tax claims, and e-Prescriptions.

In 15 countries it’s mandatory and 11 it’s voluntary. Estonia has had a digital ID for 20 years and says it save the average Estonian 5 days per year in admin. e-estonia.com/solutions/es...

eIDAS - Wikipedia

If you actually understood how these things work you would have a different view. Have a look at en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EIDAS

A digital signature is different to a digital id. Digital signatures are enabled by digital ids.

Actually thought the interviewer did a pretty good job at reminding him of the question and pulling him up on the illegality and the failure to actually deport anyone. Tories are a broken record - he had no answers.

Lib Dems: We have 12x Reform's MPs, can we have the same coverage?

BBC: But Reform has 2x your poll rating. If there were an election tomorrow, they'd be running the country.

Lib Dems: So you're putting their people and policies under scrutiny, right?

BBC:

Lib Dems: Right?
