Huh. I don't think I knew about this movie. Do Eisenberg and Stewart play romantic interests? I think they're great at it, and it sucks that one of the other two movies they've done so in was also written by a sexual predator.

Simon mentions multiple other episodes she's directed on well-known TV shows, and AHS is also not a show where newer directors get hired (per an exec I met who oversaw other Murphy shows).

Seriously, everything's in flames and being run by deeply evil and unintelligent people with bottomless resources but god forbid despair enter into the equation.

Since it's fun to point out when TV & movies take liberties with your profession in order to create necessary drama, I'll say it rang false to me that the director in the 1st scene of WONDER MAN didn't manage the situation with an actor hired for one scene before it spiralled into him getting fired!
