I've been warning people that Paramount was a likely bidder for UFC rights ever since Ari Emanuel helped the Ellisons get the Skydance-Paramount merger past Trump.
But no way did I expect them to pony up $7B for all the UFC rights.

Rehabilitating Bush was one of Obama's worst misdeeds. His biggest misdeed, of course, was continuing most of Bush's policies.

This slow rehabilitation of George W Bush with this idea that well, he wasn't that bad, and the whole "Ellen-ization" of Bush as this nice old grandpa is just gross. He started wars, lots of people got killed and tortured because of him, and he trampled on rights. But yeah he's a teddy bear.

Ari Emanuel, whose firm WME represents Parker and Stone, defended Paramount and Skydance’s handling of the situation on Friday by phone. “Nobody has rejected anything. They are just doing their analysis,” Emanuel told The Times in a brief interview. “We’ve got offers from other distributors. Everybody wants this show.” I bolded the bit about WME representing Parker and Stone because this is the most explicit instance I’ve found of Ari Emanuel being on both sides of the deal, for, as The Wall Street Journal reported last year, “Endeavor’s WME talent agency has previously represented Skydance in content deals.”

A review for a Little Caesar’s somewhere by Kevin S: Stopped into this Little Caesars just trying to get a $6 pizza and ended up in a full on action movie. Just as I grabbed my order, this furious dude barges in yelling about how I cut him off in traffic earlier. Before I can even respond, he throws a punch but then out of nowhere the guy behind the counter jumps over it like he's been waiting for this moment his whole life and just beats the living hell out of the guy. The guy ran off and the cashier just dusted himself off. I said "are you ok man" and he looked me dead in the eye and said "B*tch, this is Little Caesars. We always hot and ready." Five stars. Will absolutely return.
