Our review on the recently discovered transcription-coupled DPC repair pathway is out in Trends in Cell Biology. Yet another wonderful collaboration with @cjcarnie.bsky.social and Steve Jackson.

Using in vitro reconstitution, MD simulations, NMR and cell biology we show that ubiquitin binds to a novel surface on SPRTN, stabilising an open, active conformation of the protease.
