Changing minds is on the ground, person-to-person work. Elections are problems of math and mobilization of the population as it exists. No politician anywhere is perfect but some are outright malicious and I’m all for any strategy that unseats them.

Maybe recognize that he’s running in North Carolina and language like that is crucial to picking up votes from a large swath of that population, and we should be smart enough to keep our mouths shut and let him cook.
