Update #3
We have a functioning sink & toilet again!
6 months after the toilet had to be disconnected to update plumbing, tile installed, and drywall put it, our toilet lives again!
And for the first time in 3 years, we have a functioning sink!
Powder room looking good, & kitchen sink faucet is in!

Victorian update #2
Installed blocking for the two story front porch so we can run the porch boards perpendicular to the house. 153 total boards cut down and installed. A lot of work, but it saves money with me doing the work, and is necessary.

Keely worked hard to strip lead paint off and seal any leftover in the Primary bedroom. Love the bead board and the color (original color that was on the boards when we discovered them).

Victorian updates: Primary Bathroom starting to take shape. Bead board panels and kick plate trim installed in the powder room. Upstairs bath tiled, and drywall in.

Victorian update! The Primary Bath is starting to take shape. It’s been quite a transformation for the space.

Also, we have new window sashes in to replace some of the windows that were just too far gone to repair.

Finally, we had fun for a good cause at Sunnypalooza at HiCo Hall on Saturday!

For point 2, most assuredly. Demand + tariffs will make the suffering even worse for the people of Los Angeles. There are already posts on Woodworking forums to buy wood now before prices shoot up. Yes, I am a member of woodworking forums. Don’t judge.

Victorian house. They really need an edit feature.

First post over here. Figured I start with my 2nd job, restoring a 133 year old Victorian. I installed mineral wool insulation in the upstairs bathroom and big bedroom, and cement board is in for the primary bathroom. Hopefully new updates soon with drywall and tile!
