There is a lot to say about Dean, but most importantly, he is a VFF regional coordinator who is standing for Mayor in Kapiti Coast under the banner We Love Kapiti.

Anti-disinformation and conspiracy theories in Aotearoa New Zealand. Don't be duped.

In April 2023, @paparoa.bsky.social exposed Billy Wilson as a neo-Nazi rap artist named SaXon. x.com/Paparoa3/sta...
What wasn't covered at the time was the fact that he was a coordinator for Voice For Freedom.
The person who shared Billy's post was VFF Coordinator Dean Harris.
Nice! Thanks :)
03.08.2025 07:19 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0This is excellent! You've saved me hours! I have noticed that your Far North candidates' names have the last name first. You may need to fix that.

He is a doctor who has been investigated by the Medical Council twice for spreading misinformation (like nanobots in the vaccine. Honestly... this guy). He did not renew his practising certificate. POOF, case disappears.
23.07.2025 10:12 β π 5 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Excellent thread! I get frustrated with "everything is QAnon" for the same reason. Many have interacted with Q influencers and have no idea of Q lore. The major ideas have been mainstreamed, but as you say, they were common beliefs before Q came along. He/they just gamified it.
22.07.2025 09:15 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0They've been working with Chung for over three years. Calvert has been openly against Independent Together. I am definitely not a fan of hers, but she is right to stand against IT.
21.07.2025 08:19 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0That's true, but that's what they're betting on people believing. Astroturfer Glenn Inwood excels at hiding behind more reasonable-sounding rhetoric to broaden appeal. BUT BW was behind the anti-trans Inflection Point NZ event, just not under that name. And there is more going on... it ain't over.
20.07.2025 09:21 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Yeah, I'd say three.
17.07.2025 11:23 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The last ones standing seem to be:
Ken Ah Kuoi
Ray Chung
Michelle McGuire
Paula Muollo
Guy Nunns
Independent Together Apart.
Quit recently, now independent:
Lily Brown
Andrea Compton
Cryptic recent message about changing colours:
Dan Milward
Quit before launch:
Phil McConchie
Melissa Moore
Mike Petrie
Rebecca Shepherd
First campaign manager not involved (fired?):
Libby Carson
maybe three

15.07.2025 09:18 β π 4 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0THIS! Chung has been working with Better Wellington or parts of since his last campaign. He has always been this way but managed to hide it through a belief of brainlessness or innocence from media. This term has been a trainwreck thanks to him and his cronies; leaks, nasty rumours, stalemates.
15.07.2025 09:10 β π 3 π 3 π¬ 0 π 0Chung is working with tobacco and pro-whaling lobbyist Glenn Inwood. Of course, he's using DARVO.
15.07.2025 08:44 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Didn't need to. Better Wellington leaders were The S.B. Group for the 2023 election -- a third-party promoters group for... New Zealand First.

15.07.2025 03:42 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Article headline from stuff.co.nz: Smears and unwanted endorsements: Wellington council election getting 'dirtier'
Paragraph from stuff.co.nz article: Better Wellington spokesman Glenn Inwood confirmed candidates were not told of their inclusion. The group had not donated to any candidate and was not linked with VFF, he said. Andy Foster, running for his second term of mayor, said he was βvery pleasedβ with his Better Wellington endorsement, though there were areas his policies differed from the groupβs goals.
Paragraph from the stuff.co.nz article: Some candidates endorsed by the group Better Wellington β which is calling for an end to works on the central library, urging the council to ditch social housing and to re-evaluate cycle lanes and to stop light rail amongst other things β are now distancing themselves from the group
Reminder: Better Wellington started in September 2022. The group's spokesperson was Glenn Inwood. They backed Ray Chung, and campaigned for him last election. Chung said in an interview with The Salient that he'd known Better Wellington for 7 years. www.stuff.co.nz/dominion-pos...
11.07.2025 21:27 β π 10 π 4 π¬ 0 π 0That's if that's where he heard it at all! Glenn Inwood and Better Wellington were the originators of other false information about Whanau. And they live in the area.
10.07.2025 22:27 β π 8 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The leadership team of Better Wellington are well connected. Inwood has a direct dial line to Winston Peters, Shane Jones, +++. I would put less emphasis on the Chows and more on the people who have the contacts to make this happen. Inwood is a class A manipulator. Who knows what the brothers know.

09.07.2025 04:12 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Stuart Wong, candidate for Better Wellington ( cough, I mean Independent Together) is great friends with the Chow brothers...
09.07.2025 04:10 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0They see everyday opinions and actions as a conspiracy against their beliefs and tilt at windmills, aiming their followers' vitriol at people trying their best.
Councillors face an unprecedented number of hateful attacks. And it's groups like Better Wellington leading that charge.
The Filthy Politics of Inwood and his Better Wellington crew are on the main stage again with Andrea Vance obtaining the "ham-fisted dirt file" from the group.

And when you find a wonderful candidate, boost them! Tell your friends, neighbours and family.
There will be a lot of reporting on the bad, sad, mad candidates like last election. That can scare people into not voting, as they are scared they'll make the wrong choice.
Give them a choice.
