I mainly draw fan art of game characters.
Recently, I've been putting all my energy into creating original characters.
I like the slightly retro art style that gives off a 90s Japanese anime vibe.

I *ADORE* Swordheart. The story is so dear and sweet, but the AUDIO. Oh, Charlie the audiobook is about the best I've ever heard.

What IS it and what WAS it? I'm not tell y'all that. Their name is Robin Jones though, so you work on that for a bit. ;)

If you aren't passionate about your story, your characters, their lives, all of it.... then you are DOING IT WRONG. ;)

Why is it I can find all sorts of covers for dozens and dozens of 80's and 90's cartoon openings, but not one decent rendition of the theme form "Pirates of Dark Water?" That music was EPIC. Was the show just too obscure?

Was listening to the "Return of the King" soundtrack while working, and the celebratory Shire theme from Aragorn's coronation played when I first saw this post. Perfect moments all around!

Damn, what a week.

I've had a very awful week in which I've thought I was going to die, made my fiancee think I was going to die (these were three days apart mind you), felt so emotionally low that I spent a day in almost stasis, actually slept 20 hrs in snatches across a 36 hr spread, Saw a FAVORITE movie...

I have two pop culture obsessions right now. Book-wise: Magica Riot by Kara Buchanan @magicariot.com. Big shock, right?
The other the Macross anime back-catalog that recently showed up on hulu/disney+ (at last!).
I've been daydreaming about Magica Riot (the band) covering Fire Bomber. Help Me. ;)

FWIW, I don't view M.R. primarily as a coming out story (elements of it are, obviously). But rather, it's the (in media res) start of CLAIRE'S story. Stuff happened before, stuff will happen later, but M.R. is the beginning, not the revelation? If that's the right word?
