Who's coming with me to see My Chemical Romance at Wembley in 2026?

Note: not actually me in the credits, just the name of another Matt Evans.

The humour had some nods to the old film, but I somehow missed that this one has Seth MacFarlane's fingerprints and DNA all over the crime scene. Many of the modern comedy elements feel very "Family Guy" as a result.

If that's a turn off, it's not for you.

I saw the new Naked Gun reboot yesterday, and despite being ridiculous and very very bad, it kept a smile on my face the whole time.

Stayed to the end to see my name in the credits.

They only played like 3 songs from the album but it was a moment leaning heavily into the power of nostalgia.

I can't get enough of Fall Out Boy's IOH album ever since the flying sheep dropped down from the stage last year, there's life before that moment and life after.

I've not heard great things about San Francisco, which is why we planned to skip it. I think I'd give it a go on another trip. We focused on the central California coast, mostly around the San Louis Obismo (SLO) area.

We have the same West. Carmel is so lovely. I wish I'd budgeted more time for it and Monterey!

Furthest I've been:

N: Oslo, Norway
E: Yerevan, Armenia
S: Malaga, Spain or Nerja if we're discarding airports.
W: Carmel-By-The-Sea, California

I've pushed East and West since the last time this sort of thing popped up!

Hiked from Saundersfoot to Tenby over the coastal path, again. It was a lot easier today than last time. Plunged straight into the sea at North Beach to cool off before getting seafood to round off an excellent day!

I think it actually has to be something Edeka has in their catalogue, so better luck if you've seen it in another Edeka. Btw, i heard Almdudler referred to once as a Ersatz Lucozade and I kind of get it.

Deception Point. I've not read anything of his bar a few chapters of Digital Fortress, which I still mean to read at some point!

I've heard most Edekas are owned by the manager and they have a say in what's stocked; if it's stocked by Edeka in General, you can ask them to stock more of a particular item.

Got a couple of books from a charity shop to pretend to read on the Pembrokeshire coast next week. Went easy; a Dan Brown book, and a reasonably short Sci Fi called Purgatory Mount, which seems interesting enough!

Picnic, Wunderbar, and Curly Wurly, occasionally Dairy Milk. Slim pickings since Brexit but happy when I see them.

Yep, saw those too. My favourite bit of the city these days.

I went to the bear, then had a pie in the covered market. Nice morning out!

Currently sat in the Bear, which a tour guide announced is the oldest pub in Oxford. That's something I had to look up and it's really up for debate. The pub we're in is from 1774. Another pub with the same name, in a different place, was a pub from 1241. I agree that it gives it history, at least.

Favourite comedy show of the year is probably Joe Kent Walters' Frankie Monroe, character and setting that is somewhat of a mix between Phoenix Nights and the darker tones of the mighty boosh. His sequel show has already sold out at Edinburgh this summer. The tour was announced, my wallet is ready.

You can't trust footage on the internet anymore as legitimate. My dad commented "oh someone has caught bunny rabbits jumping on a trampoline on CCTV" so I quickly tapped up Veo for a video of Cavapoo Dogs doing the same to prove a point.

There's Lewknor, just off the M40, that's actually where I got off.

Riding on the Oxford Tube, a comically named bus service recently covered by British transport YouTuber Geoff Marshall. You know what? It's covered in signs saying Oxford, so you can't really blame the tourists for asking the driver if it goes to Oxford Street.

We call Construction Workers 'Builders', so yes I agree the best places are the ones frequented by construction workers.

With English ful breakfast cafes, there's one rule. No builders? No Bueno. Disappointed by the famous 'Regency Cafe' which is more chaotic than a Bavarian beer garden. Self service coffee? No thanks.
