So probably the least-plausible thing about that S2 “Last of Us” finale was the Haunted House-style thunderstorms going on in the climactic scenes. I heard maybe… 2 thunderclaps *total* in my nearly 18 years living in Seattle.

3-hour oil sketch. For this one I dug out some Cadmiums, which I haven’t used in years. I have a whole series of neon paintings I want to do, but I’m not yet satisfied with the look of the first few attempts. This doesn’t quite get what I wanted, but I’m intrigued enough to experiment in this vein.

A 2.5-hour timed study I did on Friday. I think I’ll spend some more time developing this idea into a proper painting.

I’m working out color ideas by doing small studies from the same reference. I’m trying to just make up stuff for the most part. Clockwise from bottom-left: Natural, Skittles, Day-For-Night, Bonfire.

The right doesn't just have money and resources.

They have the spiritual fortitude to accept that their divine vision could take generations-- but that they are working toward creating the world they want to live in.

The problem too many centrist/ liberals have: No firm beliefs in anything.

Ok so it turns out “A Complete Unknown” is really good. I was so sure I’d hate it. Wrong again, dum dum.

I was told by locals in #Tulsa when I moved here last summer that I wouldn’t see much snow in the winter, so I’m enjoying today.

Again, I have to reiterate that if I was a billionaire I would not be wasting my time online. I’d be busy constructing a city-sized laser tag arena called Laser Tag City

Just finished #Shrinking in time for the new year. Holy shit, Harrison just about killed me in that last episode (everyone else was great, too - but seeing the Icon of my Youth absolutely crushing this role in his 80’s has been my biggest surprise in entertainment this year).
