I hear ya. I don't think it's bad or anything. I think that's why it has such a following. Even jerks like me can't argue against it but it's just sort of a "whatever" movie.

I'm beginning to think the biggest prank people my age perpetrated on younger people is convincing them the Shawshank Redemption was a good movie. I've heard multiple people say it's their favorite movie. I don't argue but I assume they've only seen four movies.

This is another one of those "why am I telling you guys?" Stories but it's not really much of a story. It's more just a thing I was reminded about and now you have to read it. Congratulations for being my internet friend.

When we were teenagers, my gal and I had a tremendous fuck session in our too-open punk rock house. I came downstairs in my boxers. Fuckin' steve asked if we were done up there and I said I was but she was still working on it. Fucking Steve.

I've always worked for big shitty companies. The one advantage to that is that no one was scrambling to give you a check after a 50 hr work week. I tried too hard in the wrong places at that dump. Some of that is on me. I get that now.

I'm tempted to start my own hot sauce company but I worked for a small business last year and it was always a surprise when I told them I needed a paycheck. Every single time. I can see myself being that guy.

My knowledge of hot sauce is pretty vast but I still don't get why companies think it's a good idea to talk about buttholes on their packaging. Uncle dan's ass blaster fiery fuck you up sauce or whatever. You're making food, you disgusting fuckers.

There are some people in comics who are proud of every page they make. I'm not talking about them though. I'm talking about the people who think and worry.

Hernandez bros are my best example of quality work-horse cartoonists. I wonder how often they sit back and say "I nailed this one"

Not trying to compare myself, just curious how often hard working comics people say "hey this is pretty fucking good."

I'm finishing up a comic page and I'm really proud of it. It's very simple and no normal person is going to care but I did some things that are pretty good comics-wise.

Ah, really? That sucks.

I try to not be too attached to books when a movie comes out but there are a few instances that I can't shake.

The movie Short Cuts really breaks me up. It's kind of a good movie but Raymond Carver is such a pacific northwest writer and the movie is such a los angeles movie. Even Julianne Moore's pubes can't save it for me.

My old work crush took some time off before I left. She needed the time to take care of her mom. If you want to get into my heart, take care of your mom. She also had some personality stuff I kinda liked and an ass like a honey bee.

I have a few friends who have gotten major recognition for goofy shit they did while working on stuff they thought was important. I've had people compliment me for things I find trivial. Not sure why I'm saying this. Just a sock in the arm I suppose.

Also, like all these x-mens, it just turns to shit at the end.

It's like if wolverine had a connection to italy and it was all mafia and gondolas. It's pulpy and fake, I get that but it's also lazy and boring. Kudos for making wolverine a gross hobo though. 2 thumbs.

The wolverine (2013) I was always bummed out by the Wolverine-in-japan stuff. Not sure why, other than making it all exotic and magical. From what I gather, Japan is kind of a different world than what I know but hell, so is every other place...

All my high school buddies were pretty hardcore in different ways. A band friend I knew wrote a song about one of my very best friends. It had the line "I can meditate faster than you." It was one of those accurate observations where you say "ooh, dang."

On the plus side. I like how simple the package is and that it's printed to make it clear it should be stored spout-side down. I'm trying to find the good parts. It's thick and creamy. Tastes like garbage. Maybe a thick potato? Might go well on a thick potato.

Good to know. We don't have it close to where I live but I've always heard it was good (food wise.) If the sauce is any indicator, I'll just go to my grave never having tried it.
I'm so disappointed in the stuff, every time I open my fridge I look at it like it owes me something.

I suppose it's the difference between learning something and being told something. I'm pretty good at one and terrible at the other.

I did have someone correct my pronunciation of the word Pillow though and that's still stuck in my craw. Fuck that person.

I used to pronounce it "comfterble" I know it wasn't correct but it was one of those words you just say all screwy. My ex girlfriend S- never corrected me but I noticed she said "comfortable" with a degree of elocution and now I think about it every time I say the word.

I keep trying it, in a "smell this milk" way. It's never going to get better but it cost like, five or six bucks.

A lot of people say things have a "chemical" taste but it's not that. it's just like they squeezed a couple of cheap ingredients together and called it their signature sauce. Fuck this stuff sucks.

I'm going to try it on some different things like, I dunno, chicken I guess? Is this what they use in the shops? I've never been but I can't emphasize enough how bad it is.

I'm not trying to be the sauce guy or anything, I guess I like to put goop on food though. This was the biggest mistake so far. I don't like to waste food but I might just put it in the garbage.

If I stopped buying products because I don't like a company's politics, I'd never buy anything. Therefore I was like, "let's try this out"
Thumbs fucking down dude. This is straight-up thousand island dressing with two spoons of sugar. I can't imagine what this would be good for. It's very bad.

It's monday morning motherfuckers. The goal is to letter these comics and apply for six jobs. I only applied to three jobs all last week and it was a bust so I'm trying to stay in cheerleader mode and chanting "pay... my rent, pay pay my rent!"
