(I love that book. I honestly think it’s my favorite book you’ve written. There are others that are better, but none hold as dear a place in my heart.)

Saw it as the second film in a drive-in double feature, and I loved it. All I knew going in was the basic premise of the central mystery and not much else.
It’s very much one of those movies that benefits from knowing as little as possible going into it.

My first thought after seeing this news was a selection of expletives describing, in detail, my dislike for Orange Hitler.
My second was..."Surely they'll sweep it for bugs and stuff, right?"
My third was remembering that this is the same Administration that communicates its war plans via Signal.

I left the bengay on my bathroom counter. My daughter came into our restroom to brush her teeth…

Since moving to Florida the kid and I have discovered the local library. She’s hit the YA section pretty hard, and I’ve tried out some authors that have been on my “I should read them one day” list.
I picked up Beartown by Blackman. I’m only half way through… but I’m really enjoying it. It’s great.

I just want to drop a quick line to say "thank you" for your work. I laughed myself to tears reading that last section of Absolution. I loved Lowry. I loved that book.

I read issue one last night. My honest first thought after finishing it was, “this book is great!”
I loved it, and I’m certainly on board for the duration. The writing, art, coloring, lettering… all of it was spot on. It’s a beautiful work.

Especially if it’s a 10year old Dick Grayson’s first holiday season after Bruce adopts him.

My MIL recently fell and broke herself. She has been sad for a week because today is Red Cup Day at Starbucks, and for the first time she could't get her cup.
I stopped and got her one.
I then spilled my entire drink in my car. No good deed goes unpunished.
... and that was just the start of my day.

I just want to throw some love towards the Image Comic’s Adventureman. Matt Fraction, @terrydodsonart.bsky.social, and Rachel Dodson have created one incredibly well written and illustrated books. It’s soooo good.

I usually listen to the audio of the book I'm reading while on my work commute. This week, though, while I'm reading Justin Cronin's The Twelve, I've been listening to King's Skeleton Crew. I've found that I like short stories better. I can generally listen to one full story each way. I like it.
