09.01.2025 05:09 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Go check out hexcrawl25 and build some hex crawls!

Is it bad that sometimes I look forward to dungeoncrawl sessions, basically no mental energy needed on my end compared to the usual twisty plots and high level rp stuff. Just a nice, peaceful, four hours of bloodshed and poking walls.

Prepping a fungal waste setting for my next TTRPG campaign. Think fungi people, giant mushroom walkers, and fungal magic. What are some creatures you would love to see in its bestiary?

- Map Crow
- Goblin Punch
- the guy who made Honey Heist
- and a group I've played with for the last 7 years
Thx for asking!
13 is a shrine dedicated to Kivik, the God of livestock. Kivik has been angry recently due to its shrine being ransacked by bandits, and has been causing problems with the Livestock.

Not my favorite mechanic but it was very interesting to the dice goblin inside my head
I'm really happy about how much of my local TTRPG space has moved towards non-DnD games, I really enjoy trying new ones
I recently went to a campaign pitch night and only one of the 15 or so booths was 5e (ik this is an isolated incident but it's indicative of the trend I've noticed)
Hello! I'm d10
I'm interested in TTRPGs, especially the OSR and I enjoy making small adventures and dungeons
If the players never interact with the mechanics, it would be better to play an even more rules light system.
On the other hand, playing an OSR game with the intention of rolling for everything like you often do in D&D defeats the whole idea
The take that rolling is never good for the PCs seems like good game design only when the DM provides a game with difficult problems with no clear answer that the players will cause the players to, often enough but not too often, bite the bullet and roll anyways
04.01.2025 05:58 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I'm just starting a Knave 2E campaign for the first time after playing first edition since it came out and I'm really excited.
04.01.2025 05:36 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0To try:
- Knave 2E -> I've been following questing beast for a long time and I love his work - starting atm
- FIST -> looks well done and I seem to favor it's flavor and theme over mother ship
- DURF -> simple easy fun
- Cairn -> heard really good things, never tried
- making my own
