From building roofs, ramps and decks to insulating homes and fixing floors to sharing stories and forming lasting connections, these students (and adults) embodied the very best of our school community. 🩵🫶🏻💚

Just finished an amazing week in Knott County, KY with my Friends of Appalachia family. We built a deck for the most incredible family in Carrie, who have been rebuilding their home with love & resilience after losing everything in the 2022 flood. Their strength and generosity were truly humbling.

Barnes v Felix today. At issue was whether or not the courts should apply the “moment of the threat” doctrine (test) when evaluating an excessive force claim under the Fourth Amendment. Our justices ruled 3-3 which means the lower court’s ruling stands firm (and Felix wins). #apgov
