On the off-chance this helps, there’s a “config.lock” file that is made under the config folder in user data that should only exist if the program is running (on windows). If it’s there when the program isn’t running, it won’t launch. Delete it. This happens to me semi-frequently.

Interesting! If the villain using the pool has a bunch of allies guarding him, are they immune to the pool too? Or do they have to keep away as well? Honestly either would be cool!

But what’s a good villain without their personal gelatinous rhombus they keep in the basement and feed heroes to?

It’s definitely a specialized weapon, yah. Powerful but with notable drawbacks.
I’m also not sure why they don’t avoid friendly fire, but I guess it’s probably game balance somehow.

The fact that it’s an ordinance weapon (must shoot it before you move on a turn), it gives you two heat every time you use it, and it has a somewhat short range sort of all balance it out a bit. It still definitely is pretty powerful though! Just be careful of friendly fire!

If it kept CarPlay and the hatchback model, I’d be very interested. Sadly, no, we can’t have nice things I guess.

The foundry system is still very much a work in progress. Updates are pretty regular. Give it time and it’ll get better. Doesn’t help if you want to run a game now though.

Lancer has the “Get Organized” downtime action that lets you build an organization of some sort that the PCs lead.
Draw Steel has a bunch of respite activities that let you work with your allies to build something together, up to an airship.

Range easily. Fast cars are fun, but as long as I can get up to speed to merge onto a freeway reasonably well, I’d rather have the utility of more range.

If only they kept the hatchback body style and allowed CarPlay, I’d be waiting excitedly for this car. Sadly, neither is likely.
