In what feels like very serendipitous timing I just got my copy of Against the Gloom by @scryptidgames.bsky.social. Got to play this in a game run by Dustin at a local con. Very creative and collaborative game with a fun music playlist component. Looking forward to trying this one out again soon!

Against the Gloom plays like a unique and harmonic song in the cacophony of recycled TTRPG genres. It challenges the players to grow courage, not just for their in-game character, but for themselves as players living in a dysmorphic world whose agenda is to crush the marginalized fight for hope. It reminds us we must find ways to remain healthy of body and mind to bring order to the chaos.
