(For context: nothing in particular has happened to me recently to spur this thought, but I was thinking back on stuff from my childhood.)

People who bully and harass you for the crime of *trying* are simply insecure cowards who want you to feel as afraid of succeeding as they are of failing.

I think I have to play #half-life2 again right now for science. With the dev commentary on. And like, record it / take notes.

I’m being a little bit vague about the specifics so as not to doxx myself. But I wanted to share some good news. It’s really easy to get wrapped up in hopelessness and tragedy.

But I want to inspire people and give them hope. Good will triumph. You can find a role in this that works for you.

There are many ways to help in the fight against this tyranny. My old sketchbook from 2019 was able to make a difference. You have skills, you have time, you are a member of your local community.

I donated my old artworks to a local charity auction. It was a small, immigrant-church organization, which has been helping people stolen by ICE get lawyers & pay for filing fees. They already got 1 man back after he was transferred between 3 states!

Total proceeds from that night was $14k!

Bovino was forced out of Minnesota because the American people stood firm. Tens of thousands of people took to the streets in below-freezing temps to peacefully defend their neighbors & freedoms.

I agree there is a sacrifice of experience involved in being the one to make the dream game, but to me there is an unmatched joy in watching your dream come to life little by little through the act of creation.

I have again been asked if AI was used to make my game.

For transparency, my minions used generative AI to make all the parts of the game that didn't benefit from a human touch, were too boring to make or not important enough to craft by hand. In other words, we didn't use any generative AI.
