This is possibly the most fun the superbowl has ever sounded. Not the football part, obviously.

02.02.2026 18:57 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0There are few things I hate (as a disabled person) more than "well this is easy for me/I don't need this".

People, your personal experience is not the benchmark for what other people are experiencing.
(Of course, preaching to the choir here.)
Oooof. That sounds so uncomfortable.
02.02.2026 18:47 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Ah, makes sense. It looks incredibly uncomfortable to me.
02.02.2026 18:45 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Okay, makes sense. It would be fascinating to look at how that dress is structured (I'm fairly certain that dress is held up by more than her nipples, (pierced? nipple clamps? pasties?) As there was a very sheer crystal thing in her cleavage, & I am sure there are clever hidden ways to hide support.

You can get 'BREAKING: Trump's SECRET Plan EXPOSED' from an endless sea of engagement farmers. I write for those who want accurate information and practical guidance, not emotional manipulation dressed up as analysis.
Not vaccinating children who are medically eligible for vaccine protection is child abuse. Florida Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo is a eugenicist child abuser.

The right side shows a portion of a federal court order with Judge Fred Biery's signature above his title "United States District Judge." Below the signature is a photo of a young child wearing a blue knit hat with white ear covers and a black and white plaid jacket. Under the photo: "Credit: Bystander" and two biblical citations, Matthew 19:14 and John 11:35. Bottom banner reads "Shouldn't Need to Be a Lawyer" with Patreon logo and patreon.com/mattbc.
In 15 years of practicing law, I've never seen a federal judge do what Judge Fred Biery did today. Under his signature: a photo of the 5-year-old child ICE abducted. Then two Bible verses. The good faith is gone.

For the 40th anniversary, I interviewed six Black journalists who covered it in some capacity. BTW, the PPD dropped the bΓΈmb from a PA state helicopter.

hearing that the state and capital might be interlinked, has anyone looked into this before
30.01.2026 11:46 β π 133 π 40 π¬ 2 π 1I don't think there are good arguments against this position
30.01.2026 14:21 β π 2466 π 464 π¬ 32 π 3If every Democrat voted NO on funding ICE, it would not have passed the House. But, 7 House Democrats voted to fund Trump's lawless, masked goons, so it passed.
Hakeem Jeffries refused to whip his members to vote against ICE funding. Genuinely unforgivable.
And while weβre at it, ask yourself why your favorite liberal commentator or personality is condemning ICE but never venturing to criticize Democrats and leaders who arenβt using their power to stop them and ask yourself if thereβs a financial reason for it.

Yeah, lead would probably also do the trick. It was used in early forms of bronze, I think?

29.01.2026 23:47 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0This is the reality of means-testing and work requirements. Even those on the left can fall for this stuff and ignore the costs. To end this madness, we need to go universal. No more means-testing or conditions. Universal basic income, healthcare, and education. And tax the rich more than they get.
29.01.2026 14:44 β π 95 π 54 π¬ 1 π 1I will simply never recover from reading this sentence:
"Since Georgia implemented work requirements in 2020, they have spent twice as much on Deloitte consultants and administrative costs as on healthcare for people."
Yeah. I have learned that there are three materials that last for thousands of years, it's rock, clay/pottery, and gold. (Though the gold absolutely has to be incredibly well hidden, pottery is prone to breaking, and rock is likely to be repurposed for construction.)

29.01.2026 14:56 β π 2 π 1 π¬ 1 π 0quote from Haruki Murakami: βI keep to this routine every day without variation. The repetition itself becomes the important thing; itβs a form of mesmerism. I mesmerize myself to reach a deeper state of mind. βBut to hold to such repetition for so longβsix months to a yearβrequires a good amount of mental and physical strength. In that sense, writing a long novel is like survival training. Physical strength is as necessary as artistic sensitivity.β
Not pictured: Haruki Murakamiβs wife, or indeed whoever is cooking, cleaning, paying bills, running errands, doing the laundry, answering emails, etc
like yea his routine is goals, but letβs not lie to ourselves about all the invisible work others are doing to enable him to have that routine
Not surprised, still very frustrating.
