25.04.2025 19:51 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0FBI Director Kash Patel @FBIDirectorKash Just NOW, the FBI arrested Judge Hannah Dugan out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin on charges of obstruction β after evidence of Judge Dugan obstructing an immigration arrest operation last week. We believe Judge Dugan intentionally misdirected federal agents away from the subject to be arrested in her courthouse, Eduardo Flores Ruiz, allowing the subject β an illegal alien β to evade arrest. Thankfully our agents chased down the perp on foot and heβs been in custody since, but the Judgeβs obstruction created increased danger to the public. We will have more to share soon. Excellent work @FBIMilwaukee .
The FBI just arrested a sitting judge.

I know I've heard a lot of people who really wanted to know how those candidates poll head to head vs Republicans to help guide their decision, but to my knowledge there are no polls of that out, either.

My heart breaks reading these accounts of the important research contracts that have been cancelled by the Trump administration (including research from CCRC <3 ).
These don't dominate headlines, but not having reputable research results will harm Americans and waste taxpayer $in the long run.
Trump claimed during the 2024 election that βwe have to do something about the Dreamers.β
Oh, heβs doing something alright: continuing to attack them. Heβs recently moved to strip them of their ACA coverage.

π― This op-ed by ed research leaders made that essential point quite forcefully:
"Abruptly ending near-complete projects does not drive efficiency. Instead, it ensures that the public sees no benefit from the investments already made, converting what was productive spending into waste."
βDIGITAL BOOK BURNINGβ: This phrase captures the import of what is going on across numerous agencies. Yes, there are real, specific consequences of degraded or manipulated data in each case- but even those costly losses pale alongside the big picture consequence: rapid descent into authoritarianism.
