my favorite part about this weird gay moral panic article is how it sneaks in bits proving the premise of the article is factually inaccurate, but continues on anyway citing rumors from anonymous sources as "proof."

Holy shit @wired.com story written by a woman positioning gay men as insidious and suggesting this marginalized group is suppressing the success of straight men in the industry. They've got tons of anonymous sources (what's their agenda?) and in the first graph they even say this might not be true!

“Updated February 19 with details of a second AI-related data leak, this one adding 2 million photos and videos to the 1 billion IDs, email and phone numbers already exposed by an AI-powered identity verification service.”
