I appreciate that my state assemblymember just sent out an email to her constituents about what to do if you are approached by ICE.

That said, it is a clear symptom of the fact that we are now living under an authoritarian federal government. This is not a healthy democracy anymore.

Please email NITMB but as far as I know all programming should be running. The funding of NITMB is a little different than other institutes.

It’s easier to tell the story of canceled grants, but the impact of the grants that will never be awarded is going to be far more damaging, especially for junior researchers and sustaining research pipelines.
