I stayed up way too late last night working on the Duck Korps of Krieg sculpt for DuckDrop's first anniversary release! Can't wait to see people paint this.

It may surprise you to know I still know how to paint 😂 Akao from Capsule Chibi painted for a client. There's a few tiny blemishes I need to fix in the morning, but it's basically done!

Almost done working on the Daredevil Diorama! I made a last minute change to the exposition plate, and mounted the background into the shadowbox. Daredevil still needs paint, and Bullseye is about 50% done.

Painted up the wonderfully cursed Squack from @epicduck.com with @thearmypainter.bsky.social Warpaint Fantatic paints. I think the rainbow feathers really sell it.

Recent work on the Daredevil Diorama featuring Daredevil and Zombie Bullseye from CMON's Marvel Zombies game. Tomorrow I'll be painting the characters and a replacement Exposition plate.

Lol for a moment I thought those were the Earthworm Jim Marine heads at the top of the second image too :) please share the finished Cap Duckys!

Watching @epicduck.com comic style tutorials in prep for painting the Cyberpunk Edgerunners box. I think it'll look great in that style and give off anime vibes.

I mean, I scaled it up like 400% for the bust and it's great. Some details are a *little* soft and simple compared to something sculpted *at* scale, but not distractingly so.

My stream generally starts a bit over an hour ago. My children were such *bundles of joy* this morning that I'm just now finishing my own breakfast and pre-work housekeeping. My creative energy is nearly zero... But we push on. And sometimes we just play games.

I adapted the bust from a 32mm mini by Dragon Trapper's Lodge - so it's kind of a unique piece right now :) Pulled their sculpt into Zbrush and hacked some parts off, resculpted the bottom a little, and added a plinth.

I'm not even sure how to describe how thrilled I am with this project. I'm trying new things, I'm mashing up influences, I'm breaking down references and improving my artistic clarity... With a silly cow man.

Sometimes it's ok to let squirrels chew on the wiring.

Sketching up some ideas for my next bust, and I think we have a winner here! I'm going to tie it back to my Seeker 714 Bust with some similar clothing elements, but making the whole character more obviously human. A robot cat is curled up in her hood, behind her neck for some extra Awwww factor.

I mean I might be biased, but it was definitely enjoyable. I really strived to balance areas of detail with areas of rest, and leave a lot of opportunity for expression.

I think I'm done working on this bust. The journey from forgotten-sketchbook-page to a fully realised bust has been wonderful, and frankly something I needed as an artist. On an unrelated note, freehanding pixels SUCKS. Anyway, this guy is available on my MyMiniFactory shop for printing 🤩

I put a little more love (hah!) into my Seeker 714 Bust. I decided that round detail in his chest was going to be a display for... Something. Emotional state? What he's seeking? Maybe both.

Painting has begun! A turquoise light illuminates the bust from the lower right, while a magenta light hits the back upper left in opposition. Some comic style black lining is done.

I sketched this character years ago, maybe 2018. A few weeks ago I rediscovered it in an old Sketch book, and decided to sculpt it. Today, I started painting it. It's been so therapeutic creating something that's uniquely my own. The files are up on MyMiniFactory if you want one too :)
