Bluesky is not twitter because we block losers before we even see their sad attention seeking. Think of it as vaccinating your account. Here’s an example:

For me, this would be a lot more compelling with a small display. I looked at the Halliday and Even Realities glasses, but they weren't (reliably) covered by vision care. I spent a while evaluating and figured things will change a lot in a year (which is now already half-way completed, so yeah).

I got some Meta Ray-Ban glasses this year, covered under my annual vision care allowance, which surprised me. They're okay for taking pictures without the distraction of a phone, and the AI "How healthy is the meal I'm looking at" or "Translate this street sign" stuff, but not life changing.

I just recently learned that winget export will include any installed programs, don't have to be installed via winget. You might want to delete some, but it worked pretty well using my dev laptop as source and a new devbox as destination.

Also great to use winget export / winget import to copy from an old machine to a new one. Used that last week setting up a devbox.

If you need to overnight, the Vienna airport MOXY is reasonable and convenient for proximity to both train and airport.

I had a long layover on a flight a few years ago. Took the train downtown, walked around for hours, and had schnitzel at Cafe Prückel. Nothing fancy but a really nice, memorable day. Train from airport to downtown was really smooth, the Innere Stadt is really nice to just go for a walk.
