100 years ago today… the mighty Farne Islands off the Northumberland coast was given to the National Trust following public subscription (the public raised the money to purchase and hand them over). An amazing place protected forever

The only time I get nasty stainy splodges on anything is just after I put it on. Freshly laundered attracts stains. Get it through the first few hours and it's usually fine.

That's great news. Hope you can both have a relaxed comfortable weekend.

But what's this, his hand appears to be holding a fish, inverted, over his mouth, instead of a microphone. Is he singing into it? Is he about to swallow it whole like a penguin? Who can say.
